After a brief stint in finance, Katie completed her doctorate in mathematical and computational biology. She then moved to Germany in 2014 where she married her husband Christian and worked in a couple of research positions. An extended period of ill health followed. This was both extremely challenging but also life changing as Jesus revealed who the Spirit is, and Katie discovered a depth, delight and power in communion with God through prayer and intercession.

Katie joined the ReSource Intercessors Network March 2022 and became one of the Intercessor Coordinators of the Network in June 2022. This role gave her deep joy and deepened and strengthened her faith as she has witnessed the power of prophetic prayer which is so fundamental to the work of ReSource.

After discerning a call to move to the UK, Katie returned with Christian in 2022 and joined the ReSource staff team in 2023 working with Jolyon as Project Officer on the Alongside Scheme. She has found this role not only a huge honour but one which has been very healing. She is a trained Spiritual Director, and will soon begin studying a professional Diploma in Pastoral Supervision.

Through working with Alongside the last 2 years Katie has enjoyed connecting and learning from so many Church Leaders and Companions. A role where she is able to offer prayer insight and space to three church leaders, as well as all the companions and church leaders on Alongside where necessary.

Christian and Katie are actively involved in their local group of little churches, and find it a privilege to witness how God is at work in wonderful ways in small groups of faithful believers.
