Inspired by the Psalms
Whether you want to explore the role of the Spirit through the laments and praise of these treasured songs, poems and prayers. Or use Walter Breuggemann’s framework of the Psalms and apply them to your ministry and church you serve to bring them before God. This week has been split into 2 halves and can be booked as either a 2 day retreat, or book onto both and join us for all 4 days. Whether you join us for 2 days or 4, there will be space for prayer, biblical teaching, personal teaching and times of sung worship, led by Adrian and Esther Stone.
22nd - 24th September
Led by Resource Ministers, Kevin and Anne Roberts and Phil Stone (Director of Scargill Movement) this 2 day retreat will give you the opportunity to seek spiritual refreshment from these treasured poems, songs and prayers. With time to reflect on lament, praise and the role of the Spirit throughout a selection of Psalms. This time together will include times of sung worship and prayer, biblical teaching, space for personal reflection and opportunities to welcome the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

24th - 26th September
Led by Annie Naish (Chaplain at Scargill), Felicity Lawson (ReSource Trustee) and Christopher Landau (Director of ReSource). This 2 day retreat for clergy and lay church leaders will reflect on the Psalms as a source of inspiration for our ministry. Walter Brueggemann writes of three types of Psalms: orientation, disorientation and reorientation, which will be the framework to bring our ministries and churches we serve before God.
