A consultation for church leaders exploring the past, present and future of charismatic renewal.
Monday 15th - Wednesday 17th June, 2026
What was gained by the church during the Charismatic Renewal in the period 1960 - 2000?
What has been lost since?
What wisdom do we learn from this history for the church’s ministry and mission today?
How do we introduce Christian life in the power of the Holy Spirit to those who are newly coming to faith - not least in teh context of ‘quiet revival’?
These are some of the questions that will be explored during this three day gathering, which brings together serving church leaders with historians, theologians, and those with personal memories of charismatic renewal to share.
Drawing on new research focussed primarily on charismatic renewal within the Church of England, the Consultation will consider how this work of the Spirit impacts the whole church today, and into the future.
